Good times this weekend

Our weekend started on Friday night with the first PHS home football game. Janet, Angie Dixie and I all worked the band concession stand the whole game, and we had a pretty great time. Its always nice to get out and have fun with fun people. We got home to relieve the babysitters (grandma and grandpa Wagner) and poor Brad got called in AGAIN. He had been working all day, got called to Hutch, came back unloaded his stuff, got called in here and then actually made it to the game! He ended up getting home around 2am, we watched some TV and made it to bed by 3.

Sat morning we all slept in, got up around 930-10. Decided to head up to the state fair. It was SO muddy! Stupid rain! Anyway we met up with Angie, Tim and Colby and we all split up. Angie and Tim took Emma and Abram to the rides. Colby and Jace, the too cool kids that they are, took off on their own and Brad, Isabel and I went to the buildings. It was a MAD HOUSE. There were people everywhere. We came to realize that it was stupid people day at the fair, which quickly turned into rude person day at the fair, when the stupid people started pissing me off. I have never in my life seen so many idiotic morons. Ever. I also ended up seeing way too much of some girl/lady who was wearing the nastiest short shorts. GROSS. There were things sticking out that really shouldnt have been!

We walked through the buildings, Brad bought me a pair of Uggs that Ive been wanting, and then we hit the food row. We ate Pronto Pups, curly fries, deep fried pickles, jalapeno poppers, roasted almonds. I missed the roasted corn on the cob though. Sadness. I also got myself some genuine imitaion Dolce and Gabana sunglasses for 8 bucks LOL. We (Brad and I) were getting extremely cranky with the stupid people so we decided to head home. Stopped by the root beer float stand, which was by the face painting booth....big mistake. So Emma and Abram got their faces done (pics later) and we came on home.

We got home and the new neighbors were having a party. Joy. About 730 there was this huge, loud, window shaking BOOM. The kids were outside. We ran out the door as they were running in. Freaked them out. Brad looked around, couldnt find the source. Izzy went to bed, we hung out, other kids headed to bed. Brad and I were sitting around, him on the PC and me reading, and about 10 it happened again. This time I was pissed off. It seriously sounded like someone was shooting a shot gun right by my ear. Brad called the cops LOL. They said that it was probably a backfire....Im not stupid, but they seemed to think we were. Anyway, they went down to the party, dont know what they found out, if anything, but it didnt happen again. We were both all anxious after that so we couldnt sleep.

Got up Sunday and Brad got called in. I cleaned the house, went to the store to buy Brads birthday stuff and came home to fix lunch. We ended up going over to the Branscoms for Colbys birthday cake, and ate junk food all day, and just hung out. Got home around 830, packed Jaces football gear, and got the kids to bed. But instead of going to bed we ended up watching a movie until 1130 or so. Now today Im dragging!

Me and the kids are heading to Hutch Trinity for the game this evening. Im still nervous, but am excited to finally get to see Jace play. It might be an interesting trip, since I never go alone with Isabel. She is a PITA in the car and Im not the best one to be driving after dark!

Anyway, thats it. Boring life I lead....I do however have a super great post for tomorrow. Big Disney news!
